Itinerary 212days/11nights


  • Day 1: Tashkent
         Arrival at Tashkent Airport, where you will be met by our tour guide who will arrange your transportation to the hotel. Free time or evening tour of Tashkent and dinner at the hotel.

  • Day 2: Tashkent-Khiva
         Drive through Tashkent and visit Barak Khan madrassa, Muslim seminary from 16-th century, Kukeldash madrassa, another 16-th century seminary where presently located an active Muslim school, and Abul Khassim medresa. Evening flight to Urgench and drive to ancient city of Khiva. Check in and dinner at the hotel.

  • Day 3: Khiva
         One of the most ancient settlements in the world, Khiva is the most preserved of all ancient Central Asian cities. We will tour Ichon-Qala, an old fortress surrounding the Kuny-Ark citadel and the Tosh-Khovli Palace, the residence of the Khan, Islom-Kodja madrassa and minaret and many other architectures of the city.

  • Day 4: Khiva-Bukhara
         Depart Khiva and drive to Bukhara, once Islam's most sacred cities with 140 buildings many dating back to middle ages and archeological sites dating even back to 3-4 centuries.

  • Day 5: Bukhara
         Tour of the holly city of Bukhara and visit Mausoleum of Ismail Samanid, dating back to 10-th century, the famous Kalyan Minaret, the symbol of the city, and Lyabi-Khauz, with other monuments located nearby. Continue to the statue of the wise fool Sufi Hoja Nasruddin and caravanserai of Nadir Divanbegi.

  • Day 6: Bukhara
         Visit the Ark Fortress, fortified residence of the rulers of Bukhara, Old walls of Bukhara which remained today from the fortress surrounded the city in the past, Chashma Ayub, where curative water miraculously gushed from the desert, and Sitora-I-Mokhikhosa - the summer residence of the former emir of Bukhara.

  • Day 7: Bukhara-Shakhrisabz-Samarkand
         Depart Bukhara and drive to Shakhrisabz, the birthplace of Tamerlane (Amir Temur), and visit the Ak-Saray Palace, Temur's summer palace, Kok-Gumbaz Mosque, the Friday mosque was completed by Ulugbek in 1437 in honor of his father Shakhrukh, House of Mediation and crypt built for Amir Temur. Continue to Samarkand where the actual burial place of Amir Temur is located.

  • Day 8: Samarkand
         The famed city of Samarkand is the jewel of the desert and the home of Amir Temur. More than any other city in Uzbekistan, Samarkand is a symbol of a living history, which seems to be almost untouched by the centuries. After breakfast full day tour of famous Registan Square, Bibi Khanum Mosque, Mausoleum of Amir Temur with onyx covered tomb of Amir Temur dating back to the 15-th century, Ulugbek's observatory, Shahi Zinda necropolis.

  • Day 9: Samarkand-Tashkent
         Visit Katta bazaar (Oriental food market) of Samarkand before departing to Tashkent. Sightseeing the downtown of Tashkent. Dinner at the hotel.

  • Day 10: Tashkent-Fergana
         Flight to Fergana, the ancestral homeland of the Great Moguls, the birthplace of ancient poet and ruler Babur who fled to India during his childhood, where later he built the Taj Mahal and Shalimar Gardens. Visit the house where Babur spent his childhood. Shopping at the local bazaar. Sightseeing the nature of Fergana, Rishtan, Margilan and Kakand.

  • Day 11: Fergana-Tashkent
         Morning flight to Tashkent. Sightseeing Tashkent and doing last minute souvenir shopping. Performance at Alisher Navoi Theater (if available). Free time. Farewell dinner, traditional cultural program including songs and dances.

  • Day 12: Departure
